Port Lincoln town and Boston Bay at dusk, Eyre Peninsula, South Australia

Local guide

Explore Port Lincoln

Everything worth doing on the lower Eyre Peninsula, from a host who has lived here for years.

Seafood capital of Australia

Port Lincoln lands more seafood than anywhere else in the country. Tuna, kingfish, prawns and Coffin Bay oysters, often on the plate the same day they leave the water.

Swim with sea lions & tuna

Half-day tours run from the marina year round: snorkel with wild Australian sea lions, dive into a tuna pen, or head out for a shark cage experience at the Neptune Islands.

Boating, fishing & the marina

Boat ramps minutes from both houses and plenty of driveway room for the trailer. The marina precinct is the spot for sunset drinks after a day on the water.

Eat and drink like a local

Del Giorno's on the foreshore, Line & Label at Port Lincoln Hotel, Beer Garden Brewing for a cold one, and Fresh Fish Place for something to throw on the BBQ back home.
